Hi all,

I've got 2"evergreen" frangipanis, which seem to have an issue when putting out new leaves/branches. I'm in Perth, and these 2 are in large square planter boxes.

I've attached some pictures. But the small shoots seem to go black and die when really small. I used to think it was some kind of fungus and used liquid copper spray, but I'm not really confident that's the issue, or that the blue liquid copper helped anyway.

I've noticed one tip to actually have sap as well, so REALLY don't know what's going on there.

I've had this issue every year, and I'd really like to solve it once and for all?
