Many computer motherboards have a heat sensor under the CPU chip. If the temperature gets too hot, the computer is automatically shut down to protect the processor from damage. The CPU usually gets too hot because of improper cooling or overclocking. I would definitely blow out the inside of the computer. Try some canned air or a small vacuum with a reverse setting that pushes air instead of pulling it in. I don't like vacuums as they pull at wires and other parts. Dust sometimes clings to fan blades and must be scrubbed off. The cotton swab sticks sold at electronic stores work well when dipped in rubbing alcohol. I would suspect the clicking sound is a fan blade weighed down by dust, or a damaged bearing inside of a fan. If a good cleaning does not fix the problem, I would check each fan. You can temporarily stop a fan with a plastic coffee stir stick as offered at most fast food restaurants and donut shops. Push the stick into the fan until the blades stop and listen for the clicking sound. If it stops, you found the cause. You should only stop the fan for a second or two. The plastic stick should not damage the fan. Never use a wooden stick. If the problem is a fan, it must be replaced. If its the power supply fan, you will have to replace the entire power supply. The problem may very well have a different cause. I don't think its a hard drive problem as they usually cause a computer to lock up instead of shutting it down. Good luck.

I just purchased a desk from Riverside Firniture thst has a hutch. The wires are attached to the powerstrip inside the cabinet. Only one wire drops out o fhte back to the outlet. I have the Meridian series in cherry. I am very pleased with it. I also got the lateral file. Details are very finely finished.

I've also been in similar situation--needing to choose two chairs for my home office. Like most things, I turned to Craigslist. With the economy as it is and all the layoffs there are numerous office chairs to have had for a song--many ergonomic, leather, upholstery with or without arms. I ended up buying two black leather ergonomic office chairs, buth then felt they were too bulky. The other option I like is the swivel chairs from Pottery Barn. I was able to procure one of them used and it is just the look I like, but alas not as comfortable. DH prefers an ergonomic chair that has a lower profile than the leather ones so we are still debating, though I use the office more than he does as he just takes his laptop and sits wherever. As for our kids, they have nice desks and ergonomic chairs, but still sit on the beds with their laptops for homework. Use the thin stuff and drip it in and let it soak into the surrounding area. - Fill loose holes with epoxy.
