Powder room mirror
Im designing our powder room and went wild with a wallpaper print on one wall. The wall will have a black vanity with vessel sink and toilet (still to be installed).
What shape/style of mirror should I put above vanity? Frame no Frame? Round or rectangle? I bought a chrome 3 light bar for above mirror. Thanks in advance!

Powder room mirror and lighting size/position question
Comments (3)I have a 38" wide powder room. Either mirror width is fine, but I'd go with the 30" height when using an overhead light. Mine is 19" x 26" and I can see from the waist up. I think a three light will provide more light than you need in a powder room. I have one with 75 watt bulbs over a 36" vanity in my guest bath as my only light. You might just need a lower wattage bulb. The double lights look odd to me, so I'd look at the bath bar style of lighting if your mirror is a rectangle. 6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoI don't have a pic of the light but this is similar. Bought it for $20 on varagesale and I was going for budget friendly. I would be open to switching out the light once everything is put together if it doesn't look good.
I do like your idea Olychick! I tend to go for character over plain but because the wallpaper is soooo busy I wasn't sure if a busy frame would be the way to go. A beveled edge may be a good choice. Thanks :)

I would try not to cover up as much as I could because it takes center stage for sure. and I think keeping the balance of the dark vanity is good also. I would use something like these.
