Granite seam match issue should I ask for re-do

mp mp

Beautiful granite just installed. They messed up and at install realized they had cut cooktop piece about 2 feet short. They said there was enough left over to cut new piece. We asked, will pattern match at corner seem and they said yes would do best. Piece they originally cut pattern matches well, as we went with 4 slabs vs. 3 for better odds of matching.

I am not happy with end result. Am I being unreasonable to ask for re-do? Options now are:

1- live with it and every morning as I make my coffee in this exact spot be reminded of their screw up

2- use original piece they cut short and add seam at cooktop

3 make them tear out both sections and they eat new granite cost (the white ice is selling like crazy and slab numbers won’t be anywhere near match to island.

I am thinking option 2, just worried about them removing and damaging cabinets. Installers were awesome, fabrication excellent just sucks they screwed up measurement.
