There are about 17 species of Casuarina from what I have read. The following 4 species are the ones that I come across very often:

1. Casuarina equisetifolia (widest range and most tropical of the four)

2. Casuarina cunninghamiana

3. Casuarina glauca ( I read it was grown in Egypt for reforestation at one time)

4. Casuarina cristata

Apart from Casuarina equisetifolia, I have not seen the other three at close range.

What are the difference between the remaining three, in terms of form, foliage colour, height, growth rate, growing requirement, etc.
