Can anyone confirm if this young plant is an Erythrina vespertilio? A friend gave it to me id'ed as that but I am suspicious as the leaves don't much conform to the classic bats wing shape. As I hope you'll see from the photos, the young trunk/stem has thorns, but the most interesting thing are the leaf's prickles on the top and underside mid-rib. Thanks in advance for your help.
