Dark Small Living Room - What is the lighting solution?

We live in a small colonial (about 1200 sq feet, not including the basement) and it is so dark! The windows are not very large and the location of the house don't help it. I am trying to think of solutions for our small living room. Right now we have 3 floor lamps, but I wonder if something from the ceiling might be better - Track lighting? Recessed lighting? Pendant lights? Chandelier? Other suggestions?

In terms of style / furniture we have:
- a couch that looks like this (but isn't this... it is as close as I could find) - https://joybird.com/sofas/eliot-sofa/#productGallery in light green
- this armchair in dark blue - https://joybird.com/apartment-chairs/korver-apartment-chair/
- an armchair that looks kind of like this, in a patterned fabric with maroon, cream, and sage - https://www.scandinaviandesigns.com/living/accentc...c/katja-high-back-chair-2/7810
- two wooden side tables - They are similar in style to this https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/tables/coffee-ta...ee-table-bassett/id-f_6745283/

We also have a traditional brick fireplace with a white mantel and some plants. And... the walls are tan.
