Nicola Paone's "Pasta Serenata"

For the better part of 30 years, our restaurant of choice in Manhattan was Nicola Paone's on 34th Street. They had a pasta dish called "Serenata" that was heavenly decadence on a plate. Franco, the manager, took me into the kitchen at least 3 times over the years to show me how to make it, but that was a long, long time ago and my memory fails me. I remember three cheeses, large wide noodles, lots of cream and butter, baking in a skillet and then an oven, but that's the extent of the details.

If anyone remembers the recipe, I will be eternally grateful!
