please help with pearly white paint

Hello, can someone help me with a white color choice? This picture is my inspiration pic (I can not find the source). I am looking for a white on the wall that is not too cold, too yellow, or too gray, that can pair with cool colored accents but has warmth. This picture seems to have the perfect color... but what is it?? I thought Dove Wing (the next color to White Dove) , but reading this forum has me seriously questioning that. I also considered SW Pearly White because I would describe this picture as a pearly color, but can't find much info on that color.

Also, what paint for the cabinets and trim? I would like to imitate the clear contrast shown here. I would like the trim to coordinate with this color walls while being a bright and clean white (however less blue than out of the can white). I thought Simply White but read that doesn't pair well with gold accents, and then F and B All White but read that reads modern... Going for a traditional French Farmhouse feel with a cool smokey blue/grey accent (similar to as shown in this picture)... But what is this pearly wall color??

I would like to know also, but it very well maybe the natural light enhancing the color on the wall. The trim around the door is much whiter.

Oh, Sherry, I so hope you are correct. It does look like the tiny blooms. Wouldn't that be neat. I will keep the little plants. I do believe your photo looks very much like the plants I found. My back is messed up and I couldn't get down close to the plants to take a proper photograph. Thank you for taking the time to look. Now I've got to go research Cudweed, as I know nothing about it. Hoping it's a perennial but if not, maybe the dropped seeds will provide more plants next spring. That area is going to be my "Cudweed" bed for the American Ladies BF's! Ironically, I was pulling up the weeds, thinking I might plant the Pearly Everlastings there. Then I spotted the little plants and the leaves looked very much like the Pearly Everlastings leaves so thought I best leave them and check on their ID. My thanks once again for your help. ~Mary

SW White Dover or SW Pearly White for Kitchen Cabinets

Used Dover White on Cabinets. Contractor uses SW so had to find a similar color to BM White Dove. Looks nice. Not Yellow at all in out kitchen. But I’d suggest BM White Dove. I like that color better. we painted Alabaster on walls and it is milky white. Pretty but White Dove is a bit warmer and would be less stark on cabinets. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

I would bring sample paint chips to where your slab is (paint chips or sample cabinet doors with your chosen paint on it). The lighting will most likely be different there than your home light, but it should give you a good idea of how the colors blend together. I would also try to get a sample of your slab and bring it home along with your sample paint chips/cabinet doors. I would not automatically paint your cabinets the color of your home doors and trim because unless you’ve matched up your slab to the color of your home trim, you could be making a huge mistake. It’s a lot easier to paint the trim in your kitchen to match up with your cabs and slab than to have to repaint your cabinets should you find that when the slab goes in there’s a terrible clash.

Cloud White and Alabaster don't work that well together - the contrast in Chroma isn't big enough. I'd def keep the trim consistently Cloud White throughout. The easier solution is just do Cloud White on the walls in a different gloss level.

What did you end up using? We might have the same style - I love the picture you posted! I'm considering Pearly White on our walls and Pure White for our trim.

Benjamin Moore White Dove is one of my favorites and I think it will give you that pearly warm look you are going for. Benjamin Moore Simply White is quite yellow so I wouldn't suggest it for this color scheme. Instead, I would use Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. It's clean and crisp to contrast the walls. Make sure you use a waterbased paint (I like Inslx Cabinet Coat) on the trim. An oil based paint will turn yellow over time. A satin finish for the trim and a matte finish on the walls will be in keeping with a farmhouse theme. I hope this helps!

SW Pearly White looks just like that color. I tried sw pure white on the walls but I could see a blue cast in north facing rooms. I have pure white on my trim and doors. I would suggest a cleaner white since pure white is actually off white

H G are you saying you ended up painting your north facing area pearly white? Because I also painted two walls in pure white and it looked terrible. Looked very cool blue on one and the other had green smh. It looked different when I put up a painted sample. I was very disappointed so I’m currently looking for a good warming white than won’t turn blue green or too cold looking.

I painted my entire house Pearly White. Pure White looked too blue in my north facing areas. I wanted the same color throughout my home. Pearly White was perfect in every room. No strong undertones

Just curious if anyone has used SW Pearly White on the exterior of their homes? We have this sleceted as a contender and wonder how it turned out if anyone has used it.

I know this is an old post but could anyone share a photo of pearly white in your home? I have very red wood floors and worry the yellow will pop and clash.

I'm loving the pearly white inside my house! I did my entire house this way. I have medium brown - camel color french oak floors. I was worried at first it looked too yellow but since living here it's definitely more of a vanilla/caffe latte color. Have you guys seen this blog post? We just painted our interior Pearly White. What floor color do you have? We need to select flooring and don't want something that looks too yellow. Our furniture is dark.
