I just order a new carb $41 and that is even cheap for Canade where we get stiffed for everything we buy. Must be our national health care. Oh just forgot I now have a honda carb I can kick around the garage floor. later

I am SOOOOO glad to see that we aren't the only one that has dogs... and kids.... that do things like that. I would try some oxygen bleach and as warm as you can stand water on it. It worked for us when we had to clean a spaghetti sauce mess when one of boxers helped himself to some. Can't even see the spot on beige carpet....

As said, when someone is sick, I want to DISINFECT. That generally requires bleach. I know that vinegar and peroxide are used (separately) to disinfect cutting boards on routine kitchen duties but for poultry, I still use bleach. And be sure of what bleach you're getting. I buy the Crystal brand that is 8.25%. Last I looked Clorox wouldn't say, crying "trade secret" but saying it's "5%-10%". One whiff says 5%-6% at best. And I don't know where you're buying your vinegar to say it's cheaper than bleach! LOL A gallon of bleach and a gallon of vinegar are comparable prices around here. Using bleach to disinfect, you use anywhere from 1 tsp (to 10 tsp for real serious needs) per gallon of water vs. 1/3 GALLON of vinegar to make a gallon of vinegar disinfectant. Don't get me wrong, vinegar is a wonderful cleaner for certain things. But for sanitizing, when you're serious, it bleach. Debby_ab, I agree with you. Bleach is a fresh, clean smell. And not the supposedly "clean" smell of fabric softeners and other stink additives. Have an extra cup of coffee and enjoy a clean and sanitary home. Essential oils are touted by many but when I've researched them I've found a lot of warnings about them. Grainlady used to warn against tea tree oil especially as I recall although I don't remember the details. The other mantra that's often chanted is the megabugs and superviruses that will develop from using bleach. Seems interesting that the other sanitizers won't cause it but bleach will? Sounds like the same argument that aluminum foil is so bad for you, both claims have gone totally unproven, but put it on the internet and it'll spread and people will automatically believe. I'm more into staying with things that have been proven and stand the test of time. I don't like hearing "MAYBE ____ could happen..." Those scare tactics usually smell like sales jobs to me. Everyone cleans their homes differently and to different levels of "clean". So, to each their own.

Faith M....glad you’re loving your set as well! Ours does not get too loud in the spin cycle...it’s actually much more quiet than our previous Frigidaire Affinity washer on spin cycle. Just a few very trivial caveats for me, I don’t like the tinted doors or lack of light in the washer. And I’d like a soak option. But those are not a big deal at all. This set really is terrific in many ways! Our whites are super bright too now that we have this set! Yes Tania, curious how you like yours?? :)
