No one's eyes are as good with white color. The whole idea with white is that there is barely any color to see. That is why we need large samples. I usually do something at least 18x24 for white. To really see it best with your counter take your large color sample outside on a clear day around 2:00 in the afternoon and look at the colors together. My guess is that of the three colors you named you will end up with Chantilly Lace. Simply white is sometimes too yellow with blue grays and BM White is a bit too gray and won't give the same sense of warmth as Chantilly Lace. This is just an educated guess. The only way to know is to make your samples and see it in good balanced natural daylight.

I would not paint the kitchen cabinets at all. First, because that wood is much nicer than your paint job over them is going to be. Second, because if you want the kitchen brighter you should change the lighting, and that will be much easier and less expensive than painting. Third, because you should save your money for an eventual kitchen renovation. That range is in a really bad location, and I also can’t believe you’re losing valuable cabinet storage because the range is placed in front of the cabinets. That’s terrible. Don’t throw good money away on a bandaid for a kitchen that will need to be redone as soon as you are able to. Also the dining room built-ins look like they may have been painted over. Not sure, it could be the photo, but the base cabinets of the dining room have a mottled look typical of a minimal paint job that is showing bleed-through. Again, it could be the pic, or my screen making it appear that way. Edited to add: are you able to open the fridge’s right-side door? It doesn’t look like you will.

My walls are pale grey and floor midgrey and countertop is white with swirly grey. Cabinets are midbrown wood and painter is going to paint them white using BM Advanced. I need a white that compliments the grey and won't look yellowish. Painter suggested BM White. Does that sound like a good white with the grey walls/floor?

Looking at these as possible cabinet colors. Are these too dark? Will it be enough contrast from my gauntlet gray walls? 1 Popular Gray 2 Repose Gray (too green?l 3 On the Rocks 4 Big Chill 5 Grayish
