What color for the trim?

My board and batten house is being cleaned and then stained. The color is Cabot Spanish Moss in a semi-solid. Also, we're getting new light fixtures, bluestone steps, and a new door. The deck is also being washed and treated with Australian Oil. Here's the question: What color for the trim around the windows and along the roof line. The existing windows,

which we're keeping, are a brown metal. What to do? What to do? I can't see it! (Also,, the house is in the woods.)

This is the dining room. The moulding here will be white. They ceiling will be painted same as the wall. The metal pole is shared from the foyer. Also, the crown moulding along the foyer ceiling will be a very dark brown to match the doors. Maybe Im making it more complicated than it is...

I certainly would not do one more thing in espresso it is a very dated color already and was so connected to cheap Chinese cabinets that I would never have it in my house.So I think in a basement white would be a nice change

I'd go for it. Whites of many shades look great together. Anything to freshen up the space is a good thing. When you are done, go around the house and purge un necessary accents and focus on a single color. you'll be surprised at how fresh it becomes.
