I have purchased some awsome IKEA products. My favorite is a long bench I put on wheels and my kids use this everyday with toy bins underneath. It is laminated and very easy to clean and sturdy. If you near an IKEA spend a day and feel the products as every product is on display. I have seen some not so quality items but for the price.... Are you and IKEA family member? They give monthly discounts and offers via e-mail and you can log on to the website for the current offers at each store. Most of the systems are 2 person jobs though so make sure you recruit help. We stacked 3 30" tall Sekiton wall cabinets (because we had a limited depth to work with) to create a pantry cabinet, with pull out drawers and shelves. We needed something 36" wide and the tall pantry cabinets didn't come that wide and we didn't want to have the pantry divided vertically if we used two cabinets side by side. The bottom 30" is two large drawers with the upper drawer having the drawer within a drawer thing. We did shelves on the rest with large doors because the depth is shallow, but could have put pull outs in there too.

Patricia - I want to do hinged doors on 29” width, which Ikea doesn’t offer. We would have to do either sliding doors or 19/9. If they offered 29” width hinged doors I would consider Pax Ones.

These are the doors we have now. The ikea wardrobe doors are both plain slab doors. When looking at photos they basically look the same to me. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience actually painting either or altering them.
