Jalapmann, going to throw a few thoughts and ideas your way. BLS is pretty common in my area. What most of us do is just stay on top of it till about mid or end of July. By that time that plants are large enough out-pace any new infections. It does the most harm with young plants, if left unchecked. Turning over the soil once in the fall, and again in the springtime supposedly helps (i am not sure of this). Remove all plants at the end of the season. Innoculating your soil with good bacteria can help thin-out the bad stuff (certain fertilizers, like Tomato-Tone contain beneficial bacteria). A layer of mulch after plant-out prevents soil splash-up. Preventative sprayng, starting from plant-out, helps the most. The past few years i've been spraying around once a week, and after rainstorms. I alternate weekly between Copper concentrate and Serenade garden disease control. I usually stop spraying at the end of July since the plants are big and healthy enough to fend for themselves. There have been a couple of bad years where i sprayed the entire summer though. Technically you should also soak your fresh harvested seed, and soak it again before sowing them in the springtime. I included a link below to help better explain. Good luck. One possibility is it may be Apical Necrosis, which is a bacterial infection. I am not confident from the photos as the black necrotic lesions are meant to start as small angular shapes on the primary and secondary veins of the leaves. I can't really see much of the angularity of the infection in these photos, it seems rather blotchy, but the way it follows the central vein of the leaf to the apex looks like the way it behaves. It is a relatively modern disease for Mango, and likes cool wet conditions such as those found in mediterranean winters. First detected in Southern Spain in the early 1990's I believe, but has now been reported in most mango areas with a similar climate. Being a bacteria, fungicides will not kill it. Copper Oxychloride sprays help to control it. The antibiotic streptomycin is used to control bacterial disease in fruit trees in the US. Here in Australia it is prohibited, so I don't know if it is effective. The causal bacteria is pseudomonas syringae pv.syringae. It spreads with water splatter and wind with rain is very effective. The bacteria itself initially comes down with the rain. It looks like being a problem for climates with cold, wet winters. Anyway, if you hit it with copper as well as mangozeb, then you should get it if it is fungal. If it is bacteria, not so easy.

I don't think it's a watering issue. I suspect it is a disease brought on by wet conditions. It is most likely fungal based. On a couple of the leaves I thought I noticed the characteristic concentric circles of Early Blight. So, inspect the leaves more closely for that. A lot of these diseases can be hard to diagnose in person and substantially harder via the internet. You might want to consult your local extension service. Wonderful table!!! Appears to be walnut...likely midwestern. Those tables with that grooved leg were made between 1880 adn maybe 1910...maybe even 1920. The difference in the finish is likely due to the table and 3 leaves being refinished and the other 3 leaves were not. Of course the rack is different wood, it was just for storage....not "furniture". I had it's twin.....but my daughter has it now. Loved that table....It could be a tiny little table in a small apartment, and you could flip a leaf up to eat on....or it could expand to fit a family of 6 or 8. I can't imagine what was patented....that sty;e table was fairly common in the day adn 45 years ago not unusual at farm sales. What kind of leaf support is there? And it appears as if a cleat has been added to the drop leaves to keep them from warping....likely when it was refinished. I saw a table exactly like that, with 5 leaves, oak, all refinished, leaves also redone....sold at a sale 3 weeks ago for $165. In my mind way too little....but it was a tag sale and didn't even sell the first day so the price must have been pretty close.
