Don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg

A couple of years ago, for some reason it suddenly became a popular thing to use Neem oil for all sorts of maladies. Now we have increasing problems with things like white flies and scale and a number of other things. Neem is a broad spectrum insecticide; it kills your beneficials, like lacewing, the number one enemy of white fly; and brachonid wasps, maybe the second. Now people here are recommending neem for control of whitefly.

Lately, the "experts" have discovered Bt (Bacillus thurensis) as some sort of new miracle that controls "so many things"; and some have started to add Bt to almost everything as an extra measure. Today I saw a post that said, "Strange, we have had no frogs this year"... must be something to do with the climate change. Reality???? Bt is harmful... and in larger dosage 100% fatal to frog tadpoles. That, my friends is not climate change, it is uneducated sheep following someone blindly who thinks they have re-discovered science.
