Container growers: what size pot do you eventually end up with

I have been busy potting up my trees and have two in very large 24" pots. I just cannot put all of them in pots that size because I really will not be able to house them during winter. I will need to resort to root pruning and keep them as huge bonsai the way they have them in Italy. I wish I had measured the pot size of the trees in Boboli when I was there recently. I know Brian has a massive greenhouse and huge containers, but those of you with less space, what size pot will you leave your trees in to live? I think what I will do is put the ones that produce the most of fruit I want into the largest 24" pots. Everyone else may need to stay in 20" ones - or smaller. I am finally really starting to worry about the size of these trees when they grow up. As it is, I have a few massive ones already. I am going to struggle getting them through the door. So tell me, what size containers do YOU use? I'll post some pics tomorrow...I just finished now and it is dark.
