Name That Plant!

Need help identifying a couple plants on my property (N. Florida)

Hello,

This community has been so great at helping identify plants around my recently purchased home. Was hoping you could help with a few more (4 pics below). All plants are in North FL, zone 8b/9a. Thanks!

First is in full sun, next to our fence line

Second is partial to full shade (growing out a bush)

This one is in full/partial sun and is about 10-12 ft tall, growing up against a perimeter fence.

Lastly, these are in full sun and grow in small clumps. There are about 5-6 of them in a row with a border (installed by previous home owner). Based on that, I assume they have some value but have not been able to ID.

Thanks again for any insight you can offer.

The 1st one is a winged sumac. The 2nd one is a wild cherry of some kind. The last one could be a bridal veil spirea.

Third could be bradford pear.

I went back today and added another photo. That yellow flower is on a plant nearby that looks a lot like the one with fuzz, but now I am sure it is a different species. Overwintering potted roses in N.Central Florida ??

I live on the western side of the St. Johns and I usually leave my roses out all winter. But, If you have newly rooted or small tea roses you should protect them from the frost by moving them up to the house and covering them. I have a couple of tea roses that are reaching maturity; I dont protect the tea roses at all. All my other rose types like floribunda, Hybrid tea, Hybrid perpetual, Damask, Gallicia, etc. will actually be moved to a more exposed location to recieve more chill. Again, no newly planted roses and no new growth on the roses to be left out or exposed. Hope this helps! -Jason B.

and your JUNIPER ... will eventually have JUNIPER CONES .... not pine cones ... and the vermin.. birds.. will at those cones/seeds ... and spread them all over the area ... they are invasive in some areas [though a quick google search of FL invasives is confusing].. but that is indicated by the fact that you have them popping up everywhere in your garden ... GET RID OF THEM .. IMHO ... these are so hardy .. that they can nearly be transplanted in august.. and still live ... lol ... been there.. done that with the MI version .... and was absolutely stunned.. they lived ... FL might be another thing though ... ken

The first one isn't what we call Winged Sumac up in this neck of the woods (Rhus copallinum). Too many leaflets and I don't see any 'wings'. I hesitate to ID things in Florida, because I'm really not familiar with what grows down there, but could it be wisteria? Just a guess

The leaves on the second one look a little like peach leaves. (That's the genus Prunus too.) The third one could well be Bradford Pear. The last one I have no idea.

I agree with the IDs of Rhus (and I think I see wings when I enlarge the image), Prunus (perhaps Prunus serotina, wild black cherry, and which grows in north Florida according to BONAP), one of the callery pears (which is a nonnative invasive in the SE US) and some type of Spiraea.

The first three may well be bird planted, based on locations along the fence, though in my garden they can also be planted by small rodents for food storage.
