I particularly love that tall blue one..How tall is that and how long have you had it?..Beautiful..I am glad your cuttings rooted..They should grow much more very soon..The mother jade is not in the pictures...It is at my job in full sun huge windows growing like crazy though.. Josh. Thank you for posting yours too..Do your plants like Calif or what? Do they like you? For sure...I love how you have managed to keep the leaves of your jades clean and spot free..You know, those unsitely rot, or fungus spots that make you have to pinch the leaves off..I think keeping your leaves dry in the cold weather helps..Thanks for the tip..They always look like little people.. I think I was at work and couldn't see them then..I think I see Micky Mouse..lol..I only WISH they sold a saguaro cactus here...Weird to think that these thing live longer than us just to grow an arm..I also have that blue cactus..I haven't noticed much growth yet.. Bias trailer tires that have been on the market for years need to be inflated to what it calls for on the sidewall of the tire. So many trailer owners thought by puting in less air would mean the trailer would ride better but in truth they would only be toying with disaster! When the required rigid sidewalls on bias trailer tires are allowed to flex too much they begin to heat-up real fast and what follows is usually a blow-out or a tire failure of some kind. For example, I have an 8' box Starcraft popup that has the 12" tires (5.30 X 12 to be exact). But this sized tire has two different series: load range "B" and load range "C". The B's where usually put on boat trailers but on the popup campers they went with C's. Here's the difference ~ 5.30 X 12 load range "B" = 840 lbs carrying capacity at the optimum tire pressure of 55 psi. 5.30 X 12 load range "C" = 1045 lbs carrying capacity at the optimum tire pressure of 80 psi. My little Starcraft requires the "C" range tires and they jolly well mean 80 psi or do look for trouble! And a lot of popup campers with this sized tire and load range requirements have replaced a worn tire with the incorrect load ranged tire (load range "B") only to have it fail very shortly on down the road ... then blame the tire company for a defective product! Bottom line, gots to make sure (#1) your running the correct tire pressure, and (#2) it's the proper size and load range. See ya on down the road some place! Dale

We haven't lived in a camper while we built, but we did travel for 2+ years in a motorhome while looking for a home, land and what state to live in. In retrospect, we would have gotten a large, comfortable but less expensive fifth-wheel or trailer (which sounds like what you want to do) instead of the 45 foot luxury, expensive, used motorcoach we got. We were always too afraid of messing up the custom everything to enjoy it. If you are willing to live in a smaller space for a while, do without some luxuries, and you think you'd be content and flexible, you'll be fine. It can be enjoyable and liberating to see how little you need! If you take the opportunity to, you can make it a time to really slow down, simplify, escape the tyranny of stuff and take the experience for what it is and what it offers. The mistake we made was we tried to bring all our "stuff" with us - computers, exercise machines, a library of books - and it just got in the way and made it cluttered, physically and psychologically. Some luxuries you may have to be content without: baths (most have showers only), a big, fully equipped kitchen, etc. We stayed in hotels sometimes just to take baths! How much you enjoy it is more about your mindset than anything else, I think.

Sorry! I was vague! This is a 24 ft(?) "permanent" camper. It has natural gas to it. I threw caution to the wind and ordered it. We just got it today..the instuction manual is about as clear as mud! LOL! It says it's a "whole house" unit, so I'm sure it will more than suffice! Now if we can just get through the installation...Hubby says no problem...heaven help me!
