Royal Poinciana tree transplant shock?

Hi, about 10 months ago I transplanted a large poinciana tree into the front yard of our new place near Coolum on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The tree came from a reputable poinciana supplier and was transplanted in August. For the following spring it had a good amount of foliage and half the tree flowered. Then in autumn it dropped all of its leaves and a month ago (winter) has grown a couple back but seems to be in very poor health. I've given it a dose of seasol, a deep water twice per week and am not sure what else to do to get it back to health. The soil it's in is very sandy and it has a layer of mulch surrounding it (but not touching the trunk). I've attached a photo in the hope someone may be able to give me some advice... thanks in advance!
