Comments (7)Thank you everyone for the perspective. The only place I'm considering omitting drywall is at a low knee wall (counter-height) between two interior areas. It's below a large opening between the kitchen and dining room. Functionally it's like an island back wall. All the exterior walls, and other interior walls will be drywalled. Comments (8)I'd go ahead while the drywall is not in place. We installed our fridge's ice maker water line inside the wall, accessible to a closet just on the opposite side (we were lucky) so we can shut it off easily as we are installing a rather large sub zero - not easily movable. We've already drywalled on the fridge side so this is a photo from the closet. (sorry it's upside down, I've uploaded it twice with rotation and both remain upside down!): DH is replacing the grey pex as he doesn't trust it. We are waiting to install a deck mount pot filler line behind and inside the cabinet drawers for now, as we don't yet know the position/location....See MoreUser
