Comments (15)Thanks everyone! Miss Betty is such a sweetheart...just wants her head in your lap and to be petted all the time. It's amazing the transformation in just shy of two weeks from a weak, sickly thing to having quite a pep in her step. She's still finishing up a couple of meds, but coming along beautifully. I'm sure you will see her photo bombing garden shots soon :) Here are a few new roses that I'm really impressed with so far in my quest for no spray, fragrant roses in our high humidity: White Gold is gorgeous, smells divine and is so far very bs resistant here: Well Being was a new band for me last year, so didn't do much until this year. Still small, but a decent bloomer now. Gets some bs, but not too bad so far. Very fragrant and unique bloom form: Versigny was new last year, too. Does bs some, but not too bad so far. Nice fragrance and lovely coloring: Unfortunately, beetles got the above blooms before they fully opened. Here's one from earlier in season before the beetles arrived: Crazy Love...new this year & I'm loving it! No bs & a great bloomer for a first year rose. I don't detect any scent, but Chris from Newflora said it has a nice fragrance, so hoping that will come: La Rose de Molinard...probably my favorite new rose this year; perfect foliage so far, good bloomer, wonderful fragrance...much prettier in person than in my pics:...See MoreSome garden pics...finally a nice weekend
Comments (19)Amazingly clear photography! Wow! Your hostas are simply gorgeous, each looking like a poster child representing its cultivar! After seeing the size of your June Spirit I think I need to move mine - she needs more sunlight to achieve some vigour. She is just fine but should be larger by now after 5 years. Thank you for the lovely photos, I really enjoyed them! :D...See More- 6 years ago
