Is it wrong to want an AV just because of its name?
Comments (21)Kathleen, when you say 'huge', um, that's relative, right? One of the reasons I'm concentrating on microminis is severely limited space. Unfortunately, that means I can't take Funambule, much as I'd like to; it's *gorgeous*. Yes, NOIDS can be lots of fun. I have three new rescues that I have no idea what the flowers will look like. I can hardly wait for them to bloom! It's like Christmas but I don't know what day. Would you believe my rooted Tiny Moon Goddess crown is getting ready to bloom already?? Sheesh. Bet she's good stock for hybridizing. Hmmm... Wonder what a cross between her and Twinkle Pink would look like. Or heck, my NOID white! Oo! Oo! Sure, I have room for several hundred seedlings to get to blooming size. Really! Okay, I'll shut up now. ;-D Korina (self-deluding, but not self-medicating)...See MoreYes, It's Official. Comments (28)Congratulations on the job and magazine shoot! When we moved after that many years, it was a bit tough at first to feel connected, so give yourself time. Whoever buys your home will be blessed indeed to have a home that was so lovingly updated into a truly beautiful space! I love your kitchen! So glad you won't be moving from GW and instead we'll get to see even more of your handiwork. God's blessings on your move. :-)...See Moreshrub id needed - maybe sub-shrub, woody perennial, or fully perennial
Comments (11)I agree that it looks like Hydrangea macrophylla. But have no idea why they selected that for a zone 5 garden!! Unless it has winter protection, it is never going to bloom. And considering the difficulty most have with getting the remontant or reblooming (new growth) types to actually produce flowers, even those are not very good choices for a colder zone without protection!! It also looks like it is in full sun. Does it have inground irrigation? ETA: macs can be cut back to the ground and they will regrow quite easily. You will just miss any flowers for a season, even if you were to provide winter protection....See MoreBecause it's Friday and we all need a laugh
Comments (6)nice! #5 reminds me of this house I toured years ago. It was disgusting -- stained carpet, visible decay everywhere, brown streaks all down the 1980s kitchen appliances, etc. Not shown in the listing photos: a basement room with a giant, super gross old walk-in fridge. Like the kind in a restaurant with a big thick door that could be locked from the outside. That was definitely a murder house....See Moreken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5
