Comments (8)Hmmm, I guess this is the best shot of a door I have!! It's the front hall closet - but we used the same throughout the house. hardware is not yet on...still waiting for that shipment - grrr - I can't complain though because we got it for 50% off retail from a friend. Jeldwen, solid core doors Baldwin door hardware, Bethpage in ORB, oval knob...See MoreWhere did you buy your entry door?
Comments (17)amyks, you got exactly the door we were going to get from Borano until we decided that a wood door wouldn't be the best choice for our plan because we don't have a huge front porch and we were worried about extended exposure to the elements. I love those round door handles (reminds me of Europe), even though their locking mechanisms are quite pricey...anyway, you HAVE to share photos when you're done! We ended up getting our 6' x 9' wrought iron double roman arch front entry doors from a local company (in No. California), Da Vinci Iron Doors (I have a link to their website on our home building website below). Comments (3)About $165 for 8' tall, two panel, knotty alder, slab only, no frame. I believe that they had 6'-8", pre-hung 6 panel, solid fir doors for $100. Not sure how reputable the dealer is - they pretty much come out and say that their doors are manufactured in Louisiana, but I have since heard from two separate sources that the doors are from China. www.rennaissancedoors.com, if you are interested....See MoreWhere did you buy your blanco silgranit?
Comments (11)I bought my two from a local plumbing supply co. I ended up getting a deal with plumber's pricing there as the sales woman got mad at my former GC's plumber so when I fired my GC and hired myself, she offered his pricing to me. I bought a houseful of plumbing fixtures, except toilets, that way. Individually when I compared online, some items were higher than Internet prices and some were lower. Overall, I got got a deal. Plus, I liked knowing that I had a storefront to visit should I have a problem with any of my items. I bought plenty of items, including appliances, online for my whole house reno without issue. I have seen happy Qualitybath customers here and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them if need be. As with any online reno purchase, try to buy as far in advance as possible so you have time to unstressfully resolve shipping errors or damage, back orders, etc....See MoreRelated Professionals
