How do I decorate wall behind the dinning table?
Comments (14)Purchase a canvas mounted on a frame the size G recomended. Using the colors of your theme figure aka incl leftover paint you may have, design a motif including your birthdates and family Initial(s) or other key dates or words like Family and Home among them if you like. You can include a freestyle forms like circles and stars or just do the shapes as a background to your family initial in Gold or Silver metallic? You may know an art teacher or student that could do this for you if that makes it more appealing to you?...See MoreHelp decorating living room/dinning area
Comments (1)Hi Stephanie. First of all, congratulations on the house. It's really beautiful. I would like to help you visualize your room in an interactive 3D build where you can play around move things, add or delete. To be able to do this I would want your floorplan as the build will be a mock-up of your room....See MoreWall decor suggestions for dinning room
Comments (12)You're right, that painting is way too small! I like the plate idea, I also saw a cool framed silverware diy project online that I might try! Thank you so much for the ideas everyone. This room has been hard to figure out since it's not really my style at all. Hopefully I can update it soon, but in the meantime I think plates and possibly a large landscape painting or mirror will do the trick, I may have something in the basement....See MoreDinning hall decoration
Comments (7)Hi Purvita, Your room has possibilities. To make it your dining room eye catching, It needs to be better defined as a Dining area . I think we can do this as stated above with an area rug, but I think we need to take it a step or two further. I suggest that the interior paint in that area needs and accent color. It can blend off of the soft gray, but it needs to be defined as a space of it's own. You could this with an accent color on the long wall where your buffet will be placed. I know your chandelier has been placed, but I feel that the dining room furniture is set back too far in the room. I would like to see it have more presence. I would find art that has a variation of blues and silvers and maybe a warm color to add a little pop to the color scheme. If you need professional help, I have a showroom at Hoffman and Albers Interiors. I would be glad to help...See MoreLoredana Bartalos
