The round table is 20"D and 25.5"H. Top of the mattress comes to 28". The new table would have about 26" breathing space to the window wall. I think the angle of this photo is actually making area appear smaller. There's 5' from the wall to the iron headboard.

We have a long dresser and a nightstand that matches this one.

I was originally looking for a three+ drawer dresser something like this. I'm starting to think they're going to just be too long.

My thoughts are very positively thoughtful on that as a nightstand.

I like it a lot. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work - except consider whether seeing a lamp cord running down the wall will bother you.

I like it too. You can discretely secure cords to the back of one of the legs if you don't have baskets or other things on the shelf to hide them.

I would probably attach the lamp cord to the leg and run it down the back. I very much dislike cords but try very hard not to pay attention to them. I'd love to eventually get some hardwired lights in here. I won't even get started talking about charging stuff.

I'm going to order it. It will be nice to have something with a drawer. I may or may not add a basket(s) to the bottom. Right now I have some books stacked under the chair and I'm sure books will end up somewhere on or in the console.

Now I'm sitting here trying to find something else so I can get 'free shipping'.

My wall mount lamps are not hard wired, they have the brass tube thingy going down the wall. I did this in both bedrooms and don't think I will ever do bedside table lamps ever again. It's so much more convenient to make the bed with doing a hip move to the side table without knocking over a lamp. Another plus is mounting the lamps the same height when the side tables are not.

It would work very well, I love it.

I like it and I would love a basket underneath!

Although the three dresser drawer is very functional and beautiful I do think with your other furniture pieces it looks a bit heavy. Overwhelming. I prefer the small rectangle console for your space. I love your chair unfortunately I agree that it needs to be used in a different space. Were you also planning on moving the mirror above the dresser? Lovely space, hope you snag the console. Christy - Ah, I actually didn't think about it looking heavy but you're right! And good thing is if this one does end up looking wrong I can return it vs. if I bought something off CL.

That mirror will come down. I really love the mirror but never have found the right spot for it. I've recently considered using it above the buffet in my foyer but I think it's going to be too narrow and I'm not sure I want to add stuff to the sides. I stuck it up there one day and just never bothered to take it down. I never really finished this room off with proper lamps and art and since I'll be changing it soon I don't really have pieces that work well in here or that I enjoy.

I like it. You could always stack large, coffee table style, books on the shelf to hide the cords or even some type of decorative basket, hat box, etc. BTW I love the linen print pillow on the bed :-)
