Planted new trees, quick advice needed

Planted my new Calamondin and Variegated Lemon in the ground today. Then checked the weather, and we are going to climb about ten degrees a day to go from 70s to 90s by the end of the week. It will be breezy and dry and will stay in the upper 80s, low 90s for a couple of weeks (lows in the 50s and it will start cooling down early evenings). What can I do to minimize the transplant shock? When should i start fertilizing? Should I remove the tiny stakes now, or wait for a while? Worried that I am planting them during a hot spell.
