Help! Basil seedlings, cotyledons dying, true leaves turning black

I am a newb at gardening. I have started my basil seeds about two weeks ago. The true leaves are starting to grow and most of them look healthy.
However, there are a few which don't seem to be doing well.
I took them out to full sun today and since I noticed the occasional tiny fly, I sprayed them with super diluted baking soda and dish soap. I don't know if it is because of the spray, or too much sun exposure, or gnats, or overwatering, or the black fungus thingy. I sure hope that it's not the fungus.
Please let me know what you think. I live in the tropics, btw.

Photo A: One cotyledon is turning brownish yellow and curling up. True leaves look okay.

Photo B: Same as photo A but still normal-shaped.

Photo C: One tiny true leaf blackening from the outside.
