I also think the top looks like Feverfew or possibly another Tanacetum. For the second and third photos: I have weeds that look exactly like that, and I have Knautia (Scabiosa) that looks exactly like that! Obviously, deciding whether to keep the weedy sprouts in the Knautia WS container was hard last year. I will try to get a photo of my plants and post it, that may help you out. Did you grow any Scabiosa/Knautia last year?

It appears to yet have its original feet. If so, that is great. I assume that the decorative sidewings and top piece are veenered. The grain direction has been very carefully chosen, a mark of a good cabinet maker.

Hi Would second the above . A tropical tree often seen as a house plant. looks like it was started from cuttings so probably wouldn't hurt to pot it up. Wealth of info on the "House plant " forum gary

...but no one mentioned the choice of pot or the soil it's in! Both to me appear wrong. Has the pot got at least one drainage hole? Curved pots aren't usually recommended, you can have probs extracting plants that grow large rootmasses, that said, I don't think this will, but it's a bit on the large side for the plant at the moment. What's the soil you have it in please? It looks like pure peat, it will hold water and rot the cactus. It needs a fast draining mix. Lots of recipes if you use the search box at top of forum page. Easiest is half potting mix and half perlite, heavier on perlite would also do. Please also tell us when and how much water you give it and where it's situated in regards to light/sun. Gill
