Need White -- Ceiling Paint Color Recommendation
Comments (2)Bossy color consultant warning.... Do not add "some" of the wall color to tint a gallon of white paint. Do not cut the formula by a percentage and call that the color for the ceiling. (actually cutting the formula for any reason is unnecessary and dumb) I see both recommendations on this forum all the time and it is BAD ADVICE! Olympus is an odd color for trim - it's a light gray and it doesn't work with Revere Pewter - like at all. Comments (2)Thanks suezbell! Because the trim is painted the Edgecomb Gray, the doors and all the built ins are also that color, so it’s does break up the white luckily. I’ll take some pictures and post them tomorrow to give you an idea! You are right about white though. I was going to do something similar in our living room, but we have so many off white furnishings in there that it may be hard to blend it all together. I’ll probably paint it Edgecomb Gray or a sage green, which I’m thinking I should have done in our bedroom to make life simpler 😂 thanks again!...See Morestillpitpat

6 years agoI just painted my bathroom in white dove when we redid it. I love it. I used their kitchen and bath paint. (BM) it is a slightly warm white, as opposed to a white white if that makes sense. you can see the slight difference in the ceiling vs the walls. (the ceiling was painted by the PO.
