Planting a Niobe Weeping Willow near creek but in part-shade? (SE MI)

I am in the metro-Detroit area and I want to plant a Niobe weeping willow near a creek on our property. There are already some trees nearby that cast shade, so the willow (10 ft) may only get three or four hours of direct sunlight a day until it grows taller; will this be enough to encourage fast growth?? Is there another fast growing tree that would be a better fit for this area? Soil is very moist, thanks!!
