lots of T-Rex hosta
Comments (13)I would LOVE to have this hosta to say the least!! I have tons of blackberry lilies and many other things that I can trade. Let me know if you are interested in a trade and take a look at my list to see if there is anything that you would like. Take care and God bless!...See Morewanted: have: lots of gilbert wild hostas (100/$100 mix extras)
Comments (4)Hi aezarien! Thanks so much for your reply. I'm so sorry I haven't checked back-- was told we'd have wi-fi on vacation but had no reliable signal. Are you still interested? If so, I'd love the thyme clumps... if you don't have them, I can certainly still send hosta! Again, not sure what varieties they are, but I certainly have a lot. Unfortunately, to in the interest of full disclosure, they WERE left on my porch for about 2 weeks in their paper bags and paper shreddings... as I explain in the post in the hosta forum, we had a week of heavy rains, and then went on the vacation. (We'll see if the folks in the hosta forum seem to think they're still viable.... or do you have any ideas?) Thanks again....See MorePics of hostas, want to positively I.D.
Comments (9)Hi, You may not be able to positively ID these plants with these pictures, but I can try to help a little: 1) is not Undulata Albomarginata. Might be Undulata or Undulata Univittata 2) Might be Diamond Tiara, leaves appear to be the right shape and size, and unless I were to see a much better picture it also might have HVX 3) Probably not Golden Tiara. The leaves are emerging too pointed and too long, at least from this picture. Also looks like it has HVX 4) Who knows. Hard to see the coloring and Wide Brim is a bit generic to ID on this picture. Sorry I can't be more help. Do you have access to a better camera? Also, when they flower you will be able to make a much more positive ID (if possible). Chris...See MoreHosta I.D
Comments (7)Couple of things to keep in mind here, jbranch. The labels invariably show mature plants and what you're buying is anything but. That's one, another is that quite likely you have yours in a different location in terms of sun exposure and moisture. You'd be amazed at how different the same variety will look when you change location and resultant light exposure. On top of that GE has this reputation for being a slow-poke, so it may not show much improvement until it's been in the ground for at least 3 years....See Morewhitewatervol (Z 8a/7b Upstate SC)
