Thanks Laurajane. That formula is a far cry from what I've got. Oh well, have to call the guy in the morning and see what unfolds. Don't see how he can say anything other than he'll make it right. I think Bm should eat the cost for having such a dumb name issue. One other thing I noticed while painting... one can of the white cloud had a bunch of paint slugs in it... like the can was opened for awhile or didn't get mixed or something. I've never seen that with a brand new can. And, the Wythe Blue is a truly gorgeous color but honestly, I didn't think it flowed out as nicely as other BM paint I've worked with in the past. Seemed to 'orange peel' in areas. And it's new drywall so grease isn't an issue or anything like it. Can't say I'm overjoyed with this batch of BM as i have been in the past. Bummer. And once the ceiling was painted I noticed a drywall seam that quite visible. So, the guy will redo it tomorrow which means I have to repaint the whole dang ceiling that I thought was finished. Oh well, it's not my kitchen ceiling so I'd better stop talking about it on here. :) Thanks for the help peeps!

@hemina Hey i have Oxford white as my wall and chantilly Lace as my trim in my family room abd I love it but I have Oxford white as my trim in other rooms now if you go on The Benjamin moore site they now actually list Oxford white and Chantilly Lace as cordinating/matching colors They also list White Dove as a similar color to oxford white.. White Dove walls with oxford white trim is Gorgeous just like Oxford white walls with Chantilly lace trim ♥️

I think, I would use the oxford white for the cabinets too. If you are going to do it yourself, make sure you scrub them very well. Sand them well, and use a top quality primer on them, and that you also use a paint especially for cabinets. Cabinet paint can be mixed like regular type paint, to your Oxford White.

Thank you for your response! I agree that cabinet color is too pink. The photo of my wood floor is not capturing the color correctly (it looks yellow in the photo when in person it is a lighter tan color (with dark variations). I have considered and swatched many different colors (navy, olive green, mustard yellow) but ultimately wanted to bring in more light since it is north facing with no windows. I am keeping the hood vent and open shelving unpainted since they match the flooring so well and I love the earthy element. Any other color you might suggest?
