Discoloration of Whirlpool Duet 9250 Gas Dryer White tub is my recent problem. My extended 5 year warranty ran out almost 2 weeks ago. I should have called for someone to look at it but I just noticed it a few days before the warranty ran out. I am trying to think what I washed that could cause the bug around the entrance to now be so brown and not white. I know I washed the black and white rug under the sink twice and dried it in the dryer. I also washed the red rug by the sliding door in the kitchen twice and dried it. I washed the new dogs beds and dried them recently but I have washed similar dog bed before without a problem drying them. The tub never discolored since it was installed by PCRichards & Sons 11-09-04. How can I make the tub white again and what can I do about this problem? I tried searching for answers but could not find much on this topic. I see now that I should have bought a dryer with stainless steel drum. Thank you. I will also posted this on the Laundry Forum.

Looks like he used a clear adhesive when he should have used an off white methacrylate. Are theses seams exposed to sunlight? If he used polyester, they're going to get more yellow, not less, over time. I can't imagine by what magic these seams are supposed to lighten themselves. If called to repair this, I'd try to dig out as much adhesive as possible with a razor blade then tint some super glue to refill and scrape to flush. If done properly, the seams are stronger than the stone and separating them for a proper do-over could be catastrophic.

That second image looks like the damage is done on the reverse of the leaf... I bet you can see them if you peek nice and quiet. Could be several pests. You might consider spraying a diluted Neem solution, which basically makes the plant 'taste icky' without killing beneficial insects. As a beekeeper, I really hope you don't choose an insecticide that ends up killing any ol' bug just for pretty leaves. Lots of dahlia growers do, though.

I don't know what brand. My GC arranged it. I met the guy, but no contact info. He hasn't returned my call, but I don't expect much. I think I will have to have them painted properly. The bath vanity is being painted Monday. The kitchen is not as bad, may wait till after the holidays. I have lived in chaos due to the remodel that I just can't face it right now
