Tomato Disease/Pest?

Hi! I have a few plants which seemed very healthy until just a couple of days ago. Since then, many/most have developed yellow dimples on their leaves, with small bumps on the underside. I cannot tell if they are pests, or if this is a disease or some other issue? Does anyone recognize this condition in the pictures?

Would be so much easier with normal colored photos but it looks like it could be some form sporulating fungus growth. But it could also be one of several pest eggs. Impossible to tell given the abnormal coloring in the pics. Are the growths on the underside, the bumps, white or yellow?

These are indoor plants, correct? What happens when you scrape to touch the bumps, how do they feel. Dry and powdery or soft and gel-like? If you scrape with a fingernail do they turn powdery? If so then fungus.

Very interesting. Thanks for the info. I guess I overreacted but I have almost 20 tomato plants and I didn't want to take a chance of anything malicious spreading. It was probably just overwatered.

There is no such thing as a pest-resistant tomato whether hybrid or heirloom. It sounds like tomato fruitworms caused the holes in your tomatoes. The little bugs crawling there came later. The good news, the most effective control for them is an organic, biological spray. It is most commonly sold under the brand name Dipel or Thuricide. Were the tomatoes that rotted sitting on the ground? If so, soil rot is common. Caging or staking will reduce the problem.

Forgot to mention it, but you can see it in the photos, the veins of the Early Girls especially, but on all the tomatoes in general, are purpleish. The leaves aren't turning colors, but they're kind of tough and leathery. I'm starting to feel like a garden hypochondriac. Every time I look up a new tomato disease or pest, I'm convinced that's what I have, so I'm hoping you all can help me narrow it down. After looking at pictures, I'm thinking maybe the bugs are thrips, and maybe they've spread TSWV to the plants, but some of the physical symptoms of TSWV don't sound exactly right on the money. I'm so confused. I always thought gardening was so simple - throw plants in the ground, water, voila! Not so, I'm afraid. Soooo not so.

That looks like webbing with an egg or small caterpillar inside. They should just rub off the leaf.
