Anyone ever order a dress from eshakti.com

I am always intrigued by the eshakti.com website and the ability to customize your dress. The pictures of the dresses are always so nice. The problem is I am actually scared of the low pricing. I'm wondering if the garment is not actually exactly as pictured. I guess I am always thinking you get what you pay for.

I have never used them. This is the first time I saw this and am also very intrigued. For the items I looked at the price does seem very good and just 10.00 more for a custom fit. I would also be interested to see if anyone has ever used them . There is a floral print smocked chiffon blouse that looks great.

I had not heard of it either. I really love the models with closer to average figures.

I have ordered from them a few times... Let me start by saying they were very eager to please and correspond with me. I live in WI and mail here takes FOREVER. It took a month or more for my orders to get here (with the exception of one order that took 2 weeks for some reason). All orders were packaged immaculately and the plants were HUGE. After a month of travel though the plants were rotting in the box. They were very kind to send replacements and I was able to salvage cuttings from everything except hypolasia (which is a pain in the fanny anyway). I think the more robust leaved species do best and anything with thin leaves is a gamble but I am always game to try! Hope this helps.

It's China's version of Amazon. At least Amazon makes an effort to guard your info, I can't say the same for Alibaba. If you have problems with your items expect no customer service. And, like Amazon, they have a major counterfeiting problem. Finally, if you scroll down the page you will notice a link for "Get paid for your feedback". reviews counterfeiting

this is an old thread but I'll chime in.... I would only recommend them for small-medium prints on paper. in that case, they're great since they have such a huge array of designs to choose from, and I believe the artists do get a decent kickback from it. but the large format printing is not good. I recently shelled out $60 for a shower curtain because I was so tempted by how cool and unique the design was. the printing looked like it was tiled together but the edges didn't perfectly line up, and was also slightly blurry. it was clear that it had shifted a bit between passes. this level of printing is fine for things viewed far away (like a convention booth display), but totally unacceptable for something like home decor. I complained, they offered a reprint, and the new one had exactly the same problems. thankfully they gave me my money back. I'm a graphic designer, so I have an eagle eye for these kinds of things. but even my sister noticed the print flaws on the large format print she ordered, and she's not as picky as me.

Fake seeds can also be seeds that are labeled as real plants, but don't fit what they are labeled as or they can be implied to be for plants that don't exist in reality. So I have seen comments from folks who ordered varied colored flowers such as lupines and got only the most common blue, or even folks who got a completely different species than what was ordered. I can find lupines in mixed color packets here, and I am in a quite rural area, so you may find them in your area. I typically won't buy from a supplier that has less than about 90% (or usually better) positive reviews. Prior to having access to online reviews (I've been gardening since before the internet) I was burned a few times ordering from garden suppliers who didn't supply what was ordered. I found it quite frustrating since my growing season is short, so I usually couldn't reorder and have time to replant. I guess the questions to ask yourself are, Will you be distressed if you get nothing you want for what you spend? and Will you be unhappy if you have to wait until next year to get the plants you want? If the answer is yes, based on the poor reviews, I would use another supplier.

Someone on another board that I am a member of has ordered a few dresses from there and loves them. She said she has a hard-to-fit figure (pear-shaped, IIRC) and the custom-fit dresses were great! She said they took about 2 weeks to arrive, fit perfectly, and the fabric was comparable to a "middle-of-the-road mall store". At the time they had a pretty good coupon going for new customers so she got both dresses for $100 US (including shipping and customs to Canada).

I have heard mixed reviews, mostly that sometimes the sizing seems a bit small even with custom measurements (but that could also be cuz us modern dames are used to things being pretty loose-fitting without custom tailoring). I think for the price it's worth ordering something!
