Can anyone recommend a good, strapless bra?
Comments (3)Victoria's Secret. They have one that has this plastic (very soft stuff) around the edging on the inside, that 'sticks' to your body. The gel bras, look and feel very natural, or the kind with padding (miracle bra?) are nice. However if you are lucky and don't need padding they also have bras for normal-chested women! V.S. caters to women's bodies, I vote for them! - darkeyedgirl...See MoreBest fitting bra minimizers
Comments (17)Lilyette Minimizer style 418 best o ne on the market--makes a full DD look like a full c--its an amazing bra so of course, it was discontinued except on one website American Intimates--I put in an order and have not received it so don't know it they are legit or not! I contacted the company today to find out if there has been an error. The only other bra that is as good as this one was made by Venus and is style 7108--if you can find it. The only downside of these two fantastic bras is that they have a horizontal seam that shows in tight t shirts--but that is what gives the great shape. Lilyettes original minimizer still for sale does not have a seam and makes my bust look more rounded. I like the lift but also like when my sides are straight and not rounded past my body. The straighter line makes you look much thinner from the front and not so top heavy! Good luck fellow full busted women!...See MoreGoodbye, old bras! (for women, obviously...)
Comments (57)Hm, well. . .is anyone smaller in size, like me? Frankly I'm always a little embarrased to buy bras because I need an add-a-size padded bra just to make me look semi-shapely. I'd never go to a fitter--would make me feel like a pre-teen (and I'm 50). If the straps don't stretch out first, the padding goes bad after a number of washes....See MoreFor women only.....bra Q

If the problem is the breasts being pushed together and creating the "shelf" appearance then the problem is not wire or no wire but how the area is designed between the cups. I have notice that bra manufacturers do tend to skimp on that area often just putting the cups right together having an extremely small space between them. I could see how that would be a problem. So I still believe a good bra could be made to address the problem without wires if more women demanded it. A nice reinforced center that would do it. Fit is important. I see many women buy bras for fashion and price instead of fit. I have a good friend who is very endowed. I was buying bras recently and she bought one too, I was buying the style I always wear I wear a full figured style in a 34 c and she bought one too. WITHOUT even trying it on! Now this lady is obviously in the triple EEE range or larger but she buys a bras off the rack in a double D and just buys a huge band size. I have tried to talk to her but you know what they say about leading a horse to water ....... Yes she does have back problem and grooves in her shoulders but you can't change a person who doesn't want to change....See More- 9 years ago
