Tip percentage for carry out delivery

I am curious how everyone tips for food delivery. I live in a rural, farm community. There is a mid-size town about 15 minute drive but none of those restaurants deliver. The tiny town near me has one little place that delivers. It is a five minute drive. We rarely order out and if we do I normally go pick it up and tip 10% since they do have to package up the food even though they aren't waiting on us. (When we eat out I do 20% for decent service and 30 or more for great service).

We have been under the weather and yesterday I just didn't want to cook or drive to pickup so we got delivery. I tipped 20% and was curious was that too much (I doubt you can tip too much) or not enough. It was a big order so we'd have leftovers for today because I am still waiting for the antibiotics to really kick in.

It has been so long since I have lived in a city where you could order from a lot of places and back then it was a couple buck tip that was the norm.

Opinions?
