It rained here, FINALLY! and this boat is floating again. ;)

Since I don't see I theme to the above pictures I'll post the first one I think of for each of the above pictures.

Here is a bunch of girl turkeys for those toms. They come around each fall to dine around the bird feeders.

Those crocus are beautiful summer! We don't get enough chill to grow them here.:( Although we can grow other bulbs that are pretty.

Gyr_falcon - Thank you......that is very nice of you to say. I bet you get to grow some beauties that our season is too short for here.

I'm sure our climate is much easier than yours for many species, summer, but it does not completely nix the desire to grow what we cannot! The color of crocus flowers is so vibrant. Although our freesias are too, they don't keep that neat, low appearance. Our spring flowers don't shout spring! so much as whisper it over a few months. I imagine you appreciate your springs more than I can imagine.

Your Australian bird is a Straw-necked Ibis, Threskiornis spinicollis
