I have 4 of these chairs made of oak, two of which need re-caning. The probably all should be done so they match. I would like to sell them and wonder if it is worth it to fix them up or attempt to sell them as is. Any idea as to the value of them?

They are not antique....just modern caned back dining chairs. If you do the caning yourself, the prewoven cane is $1.68 per inch at 24 inches wide. That's about $50 per chair.....IF you do the work yourself!
Don't think you will get that much out of them to be worth the effort and expense.

Oh thank you. It took me a long time to respond to your comments on the chairs due to health issues. Unless someone else has any further ideas on the value of the chairs, I'll just give them away :-(.
