Fried rice for sjerin

I thought I would start a new topic with this. Maybe others can also post what they do.

Hubby makes fresh white rice and then he chills it in the fridge.

He heats up his wok, lightly coating it with vegetable oil and toasts the cold rice until it is lightly brown. Removes the rice, stir fries the vegetables (peas, carrots and green beans usually) then cooks an egg.

Adds just a little bit of sesame oil and the rice back, tossing it while adding just a touch of soy sauce.

He has used the same ingredients more or less since he first started making it. What has made the biggest difference is the technique I think. Chilling the rice, using a wok and using sesame oil.

We have friends who will request his fried rice and orange chicken for their birthdays.
