My quartz countertops are not technically in the "marble look" list, though people have asked me if they are marble. It has some of the same colors, but not the pattern. I've had them for one year and so far no issues. They look just like the day they were installed. In fact, I just ordered a piece for my island, which has a butcher block piece. One thing I like about mine is that the pattern is such that the seam barely shows. I have also seen my quartz on mid tone wood, dark wood and white cabinets. However, the overall look is warm, so it might not work with a cool gray. I love your countertops with the clean lines and square corners i just had quartz countertops installed with curved corners after i had specifically ordered squared. Sadly, they tell me i have to pay and will not replace it. I even hired their designer and we went over all the details including straight clean cut sides and square corners. Not once did they ask me what radius I wanted. She only showed me the buffet in their showroom with squared corners. She then did up drawings with square corners which I signed and they still installed rounded corners. i want to have it replaced, as it isnt what i ordered but now they want to take action if i dont pay the balance owing :( I feel I need to stand my ground as this is a huge investment. Thoughts?

Any marks on my quartz counter that have terrified me have come out with a light application of Barkeeper's Friend Soft Cleanser for Porcelain. Wet a cloth, put a little of the stuff on it, rub very lightly in circles on the mark (red wine, weird circular differences in reflectivity etc), then rinse with a lot of water, and it's perfect! We have had our quartz since 2017 and with this trick it is still completely like new. Note that we do not set the Barkeeper's Friend bottle on the counter, and the cloth we use for Barkeeper's Friend is different from any other cloth in the kitchen, because prolonged undiluted contact with the stuff could damage your counter, so be careful, apply judiciously and hopefully you'll have the same success we've had.
