Comments (7)Christmas Palm is actually Adonidia merrillii and from that photo that's what you've got. It's definitely not Areca catechu which has a thin trunk and smaller crown. And the seed is more spherical. It does resemble Carpentaria acuminata but the rings (leaf scars) on the trunk are more like Adonidia. The seeds of the Carpentaria, especially with the fruit, look similar but the Adonidia are much bigger. What size are your seeds? Although probably more hardier of the three, they can't take freezing temperatures. And they do like a lot of sun....See MoreTransforming under stair storage to dry bar area
Comments (2)Hello! I would agree that you should mimic your kitchen cabinets in style and color. The white will help to blend things in nicely. Also, try to match your hardware as well. The countertop idea of wood will look lovely! Open wood shelving is also very nice just like my photo below, BUT you can't clutter it. If you do, then don't do open shelving. It serves as more of a decorative piece than actual functional storage. That doesn't mean it can't be functional, but you want to put your pretty glasses here and a eye catching accessory like baskets or a platter or a pretty bowl. For the back drop I think that doing something fun like a wallpaper would be beautiful! Check out the other photo I have below....See MoreHow should I decorate the mantel and two side shelving areas?

Comments (12)1. sideboard is too large for the walkway. Move it under the t v. Choose a long sofa console to go behind the sofa. On the now empty walkway wall, you can design for hanging coats, etc. https://www.housebeautiful.com/shopping/home-accessories/g25589411/decorative-wall-hooks/ 2. You could turn the sectional and wall hang the t v on the long entry wall using the t v console you have, With the sectional turned, you would have room for an extra chair by the front door. Again teeny photo...I lik this chair with your sectional, too. https://www.wayfair.com/keyword.php?keyword=front+entrance+chair Found ready-made drapery panels which match the chair. https://jllhomestore.com/products/blue-grey-curtains-grey-white-curtains-light-blue-medallion-curtains-custom-curtain-panels-ogee-print-curtain-panels-linen-blue-white-drape...See MoreJanice Castillo
