We have snow on the way tonight & into tomorrow. Yuck!

We have a blizzard coming our way Tuesday into Wed. Expecting 18-24". Wind gusts up to 60 mph. Yuck. I want spring already!

We're supposed to have heavy snow later today. I have a doctor's appt. @ 11:30, so I'd like the real snow to wait until I get back home. The storm warning is in place until Wednesday morning. Accumulation forecasts are for anywhere between 9" (nothing for our area) to 20" (significant, even for us).

Here in New England we're bracing for a major snowstorm.

We had snow for hours the other day. We awoke to a couple of inches on the ground, and by the time my sleeping-in teenage son got up, it was all but gone. Lunch time and it was even dry. I have a work guest coming in this evening from NY and they want to come even though their flight back tomorrow may get delayed/cancelled. They'd rather be stuck in Nashville than NY :) Their words.

Ditto Annie and Skibby -- just waiting for it to start Tuesday morning. And waiting for the school etc. cancellations.... in the meantime, its sunny and cold.

Snow early this morning, snow later tonight, snow tomorrow, snow Thursday, snow Friday...whaaaaaaaa

blizzard expected ugh

Overcast. And muddy

We've had a lot of rain.

Currently it's snowing. No snow in February. Set a record.

We've had two inches of snow this whole winter so far instead of our usual average 37. Tonight we are to get two feet which essentially destroys bushes already budding and for sure killing my bees.

Ditto Marilyn. I am glad to see the sun peeping through now and then. Don't want any more rain. It's breezy with a little chill to the air. It was down right chilly yesterday I had to pull out my sweats.

I am so sorry all of y'all experiencing this bad storm and snow. Hopefully it will weaken and lose force. I am sending positive thoughts!

Yesterday it got up to 78 and today it is going to be 76. Each day it is going to get cooler and be in the 60's next week. It is nice to see the sun again and have a break from all that rain.

We are expecting our blizzard at around midnight tonight. Snow day tomorrow for sure.

It started snowing here around noon I think but it has not amounted to much. Still slowing coming down though and not much is sticking to the ground.

Sue in Central Indiana

We are lucky. I think the storm is suppose to bypass us. Right now, a very little bit of sleeting. It's suppose to just rain....depends on temps.

I see that Chicago is due for 3 - 6 inches. First snow since before Christmas.

On Maui the weather is ICK! Vog for days, possibly Trade Winds to blow it away starting Saturday. This is the worst winter here in our nearly twenty years of coming to Maui. (I doubt this is 'just' vog, but is pollution coming across the Pacific, but I have no science to back that up.) Meanwhile, we're contributing to the pollution by running our A/C to avoid the pollution.

I feel bad for all who are having such a snowy winter. It has been quite a mild one here in Oklahoma. It's cold out but the sun is shining so I'm happy.

It may be a bit chilly. Looks to be about 65 degrees. We're going tent camping tomorrow night and then hiking the next day. I'll bring my down comforter.

75 in central Florida with a bit of moisture. No significant rain in three weeks. Extremely dry here.

It rained here in North Fla today, its been awhile. Sorry about the bad weather heading your way friends. Stay safe & warm.

we are supposed to get more snow tonight here in SD

I thought the snow was suppose to begin around 5p or 6p for us but so far I don't see anything out there. Probably overnight, will awake to possible 1 - 3 inches they say.

So far we've gotten 2ish inches. Just enough to be really pretty and very cold!

Hello South Dakota:

Your snow storm rolled over southern Wisc last night and toda, dropping 6 to 8 inches of snow. After the storm passed by, those of us within 60 miles west of lake Michigan got the benefit of a wind shift and lake effect snow during 2/3 of Monday's daytime that added another 2 to 3 inches of snow. According to temperature forecasts, there will not be significant melting until Friday when a slight warmup may appear.

We got 2 inches of snow but very windy. I can hear the wind blowing over my chimney.

Eastern upstate NY

17 degrees as of now, Tues. 6:30 AM. Up to 2 feet predicted :-0

NW Pennsylvania -- around 3" of snow fell over night. Cold (16 F) with more snow forecast for today. Nothing falling right now. Mostly looks like another "non event" for us. For those in the path of the storm, be safe.

We only got 1.5 -2 inches, it appears that it all came down in Jemdany's neck of the woods!

Right now, the snow is going down, up, sideways and in sheets so dense, I can't see across our pond. Nasty stuff coming down and lots of it!

Be safe all of you in the path of the winter storm. Mother nature doesn't know what to do down here in the SE. We were in shorts last week. It will be down in the teens for a couple of nights this week. Time to drag out the heavy coats and sweaters again.

Here in W. PA we were forecast to get 4 to 6 inches of snow overnight. Not one flake showed up! I am not complaining! Just goes to show you, weather forecasting is not am exact science.

In central Maine, started snowing about an hour ago, 18-24 inches predicted for this part of Maine....ugh....we already have 6 snow days to make up. Instead of getting out for summer break on June 13th, we are now at June 21st....praying we dont get as much as they are saying & no snow day tomorrow please!!!! (2 hr delay would be just fine, tho)

I'm on the ocean south of Boston, it's wild out there. Have my soup and meals made so, in the event of a power outage, we have hot food on the wood stove. I love the wood stove, it has saved us so many times. Sitting in the big den with the stove now enjoying the fire and warmth whilst looking out at the storm swirling and bending.

They're making a big deal about NYC and DC which are getting way less than we are in south central PA . We have at least 15-18 inches now and it's still snowing. They always focus on the big cities but theirs is mixing with sleet. It's a mess here and blowing.

NW PA, the snow has started in earnest finally since the winds shifted and we're getting it off the lake now. Whiteout conditions in some spots, but if everyone is cautious, the evening commute shouldn't be horrible. Forecast says 3-5" overnight, so still nothing compared to other parts of the state.

Everyone be safe.

We've started to shovel and rake the roof off; ended up with about 12" and sleeting now although its supposed to stop soon. Hope so! Windy, too; sporadic power outages (not us yet, knock on wood).

I walked the dog on plowed streets and it's still snowing. We're approaching two feet. I hope we don't lose power.

It's in the 70's here. We ended up not going camping. Turns out there were no places left anywhere near where we wanted to camp and they had changed the rule so dogs are no longer allowed. Can't do Austin. Austin has some huge event going on and rooms that are normally $150 are $400-$700. We looked at other accommodations and several mentioned bed bugs. Ugh! Can't go to the beach either unless I want to experience Spring Break with the kids. Looking for something else to do. May just turn food tasters and look up some of the 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives' places.
