Your beautiful chairs are in danger of getting banged up. You could try to "cushion" the edge of the countertop. I'm looking for something to prevent my wood desk chair from getting banged up on the top edge of my desk. There are "edge protector" products for tables, but the ones I've seen look like crap. Something made for cars (side molding) may work. I'm looking for clear molding, and haven't found anything in clear, yet. I see a couple of other people have already mentioned Barn Light Electric (http://www.barnlightelectric.com), but I too have had a TON of success with them. My husband and I have ordered from them on multiple occasions and they've got a really expansive collection of lighting. Plus it's always free shipping on their website, I'd say it's worth checking out! Also, have you ever looked at Home Decorators Collection (http://www.homedecorators.com/furniture/seating/stools/) for bar stools? I've never ordered stools from them, but I've ordered other things and they're great. Their prices can get a little expensive, but they're always running sales!

JudyG Designs Thanks. I definitely have done that search, but I'm specifically looking for the stools in the picture I linked. I cannot find them in that search either. They were used by Amber Interiors in recent project and they haven't responded to my inquiry about where they sourced them so I'm hoping someone on the internet might have seen them and remembers where.

Hi suzyq! Yes Beth has been a huge help to me. I like the gray as well. I actually like a lot of the colors. I think once the paint is on my walls and I can see if it looks more blue, green or gray I can make a better decision. The problem with the grey legs and also with wsea's suggestion is my floor is this: It looks like there is gray in it but on our pieces it looks like light wood, I do not see gray in it. I feel like gray legs and the wood inwsea's suggestion would not match but the gray top of the stool would. I thought the darker legs might look better with the floor. So many elements to match up. I could also look for black on black as some thought might look really nice. I like almost all of the colors of the stools, I just need to figure out which one would look best with the island, countertop and wall color.
