Anyone up for a Bucks County Plant Swap?
Comments (21)I'm excited! I can't wait to meet you all. If someone has run a swap before I am open to suggestions - I personally have never done it. Here is what I was thinking though.... How about we all pot up anything we would like to share. If someone brings 8 pots of "whatever" then they can take home 8 pots of something. If they bring 4 pots, then they take 4 pots. Just to be fair, I may bring a hat and numbers and let everyone pick a draw number and then who ever has #1 gets to pick the 1st pot, then #2 gets to pick the 2nd pot, etc. That way everyone will get a shot at first choice. We can redraw for the first few rounds and then make it a free-for-all for the remaining stuff. Does that sound okay to everyone? I don't want to get to hung up on formality, I would like this to be fun and have a chance to meet all of you! Oh yea - and I think everyone should bring a "box lunch, I don't want to get too stressed about the food either. Alexa...See MoreNEW: Now Time to Sign up for the 2014 Theme Garden Seed Swap
Comments (150)Peggy and Lisa, I just re-sent the information to you by e-mail and through GardenWeb. I have no idea why the first mailing didn't reach you. Please let me know when you receive it. If you can mail Tuesday or Wednesday it will be fine. I have surprised myself by working with so many of the arrivals up to this point that I'm hoping I am a little of ahead of where I supposed my schedule might be now. I'm sorry people are having trouble getting the message. Please check your spam folder in case it might be there. I have not gotten the e-mail or GardenWeb information from either of you that you hadn't received my address and the rest of the information so it's not being kind to us. Meanwhile, what great seeds everyone is sending! Many of you have made it very easy for me to distribute the seeds by sending a list or otherwise labeling themes. Thanks so much. All of you are the best! Jeanne...See MoreNEW: Sign Ups Nov. ~Cracked Pot Gardner's~ Seed Swap
Comments (25)Ok then, glad I could join...hehe. I like playing. I had a bad night last night. I had a stomachache all night. I went to bed a 12:50 and was back at at 3:00am and stayed up all night because my stomach hurt so much. I have managed to get in a nap here and there today, although they were short ones. My tummy still hurts, I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come for me this year. I am hardly ever sick, but this has been 2 tummy issues just this month! I am so mad at the PO I go to most often. I put a medium sized bubble mailer in the mail there yesterday, inside is a smaller one, the smallest Bubble Mailer you can get, a note and a return label. It doesn't weigh much at all, I put 2 .42 cent stamps on it and it was BACK IN MY MAILBOX TODAY! Insuffient postage, can you believe that? I am so mad! I have gotten heavier ones with seed in them with 2 stinking stamps on them, what is wrong with that PO? It makes me so mad I wish I didn't have to use the USPS! Ok, maybe I am just testy cuz my stomach hurts? Fran...See MoreSeed swap package MIA anyone willing to part with any.
Comments (15).Rey, don't worry about it. Unlikely to go out today, but Friday. Yes, thanks Peppers_Galore, for forwarding the address. Bomb sniffing dogs at that level are trained to alert on new smells and they've all smelled jerky before! Mary This post was edited by cottonwood468 on Wed, Dec 31, 14 at 10:03...See MoreLizzie
