I received a clump from a friend's specimen plant of D. jenkinsii. It has very few roots, for some reason, and the specimen plant was a huge ball that was growing in a greenhouse. I put it in a pot sitting on top of bark mix, and now after some watering am seeing bloom spikes. Am I to take this as a good sign or attempts to bloom profusely before death throes? Leaves look good, pseudobulbs are not desiccated. I can post a photo this afternoon...
