I'm not sure, but don't think this is permitted. We don't normally sell cuttings, we swap them (that's what's preferred) or sometimes exchange plants for the cost of their postage, but selling plants outright, is, I believe, not permitted. For that, you really need to go to a nursery or your local plant shops or box stores.

Caligal, it really sounds like you want to stay with your current home. However, I'll just point out that right now the inventory of foreclosed homes gives people unprecedented chances to obtain homes they could not hope to have before and many will not be able to afford in future (let's hope no more such "wonderful" home markets). I don't mean go looking just for a bigger home (although in your case some additional size would be nice), but rather a lifestyle improvement: A decent home in a location that is particularly desirable to you. You know, location, location, location. Things like good schools, a pretty sociable neighborhood, close to family, en route between friends and mall (they'll be dropping in), favorite amenities close by (cows in pastures or high-density shopping, your choice), good proximity and transportion to work. Whatever floats your boat. If you're not already in a place you'd really like to raise your children and even be happy growing old, this current opportunity to make your home there should not be passed up for any but the most important reasons.

RSD from what I've read and from talking with the scientist whose post Doc isolated the virus is in a lot of roses. Many years you won't see it. Other years, the conditions (whatever they are) will be just right for the symptom to show in spring, and then .....poof, it's apparently gone. I know someone in Pennsylvania who saw it on all the wild roses of one species on a mountainside in back of his house (but not on the other species there.) The next year, none of them showed it. It may be spreadable through root to root graft, but it doesn't seem toaffect the growth or productivity of the bushes. In your hot growing conditions, if you decide to keep the bush, I'd be interested in hearing how it starts next spring. Until three years ago, it wasn't even proved to be a virus and with ephemeral symptoms, it was easily overlooked.

Hi Rachel, I agree with previous poster, and would add that watering every 3 days is too frequently for succulents in almost any conditions. Exceptions might be plants in grit (non-soil media akin to cat litter); plants that are very pot-bound, or plants in terra cotta that are in direct sun and high temperatures all day. For a plant in soil like yours, a once-weekly soaking is more than adequate. I agree that a soil change would be helpful. A 1:1 or 2:1 mix of potting soil and perlite will help it to drain and dry out faster, which succulents prefer. A south-facing window is preferable in most climates, but acclimate them First, and don't leave them in direct sun until the roots have had time to colonize the new soil- at least several weeks. Depending on where you live, east or west windows will also work. North-facing windows rarely, if ever, provide enough light for succulents. The smaller plant appears to be a Sedum, burro's tail, I think. On my small screen, it looks like all but the new leaves are a bit shriveled. They should be fat and turgid like grapes. I suspect the roots have died back from too much water/inadequate drainage. When you pull the plants to change the growing medium, examine the roots. They shoukd be white, firm, and profuse. I think you'll find small roots just around the stem, and many of those will be mushy, grey, or shriveled. If they appear that way, it will confirm the over-watering/poor soil hypothesis. Post some photos and someone can let you know if you're unsure. So, new soil, less frequent watering, a pruning or re-start for the Echeveria, plenty of light, and minimal fertilizer shoukd GI e you healthier plants in a couple of months.
