Comments (3)Hi Marchela, I know you said the post is closed, but I just thought I'd check, I would love to trade for silver threads and golden needles. I have quite a few minis that I could possibly get an eye or two from, I have an eye of cameo if you didn't get that already. Thanks, Catrina...See MoreMini Hosta? Small Hosta? PLease help name
Comments (3)I have similar looking plants in my garden but I have no idea of the name. I think they're pretty common though, I'm sure any good garden center has them. But isn't it possible that they are staying small because they're in a pot?...See MoreExtremely Early Hosta 2016
Comments (18)Faye, you definitely show the artist you are in these photos. You also live closest to heaven...at least that is what I call Alberta and British Columbia - Heaven! Amazing how far along your hostas are! Your gardens are beautiful and the vast landscape is stunning. The mini horses are adorable and they certainly look like they belong there. Charlie and Flash - LOL!!!!! (you have a great sense of humour) Enjoyed gazing at the appealing detail surrounding the "Barb" memorial.... laughed out loud at the fairy art when I first saw it! Jon's response to it was so funny! Inspired by you, I also added 'Remember Me' to my collection, along with 'Mary Marie Ann' to memorialize my sister Mary who also died of breast cancer. Hope you take photos of the same areas sometime later if you get the chance, please. Something wonderful to look forward to! :D...See MoreHosta C 2016
Comments (53)Dave I believe your tc theory is 100% correct. Here is a pic (of the not CF) from last year. Planted in late fall of 2014. This pic is from Sept. 2015 with the narrow white strip and twisted leaves. irawon Ottawa and all surrounding areas including much of the province was certainly under drought conditions but when it did rain it missed us. There were days when I could see the clouds dropping rain less than a km away and the odd time I would get a few drops, occasionally we would get 2-3 minutes - so frustrating. So from last years pic we know it was not the drought affecting it. The plant in the ground will no longer be called CF. I will plant the potted one and watch it. Thank you both very much for bringing it to my attention. I really should have caught that....See More- 7 years ago
