My blondeness is showing. It is 10:45 PM at night and I all get is a black screen, then I think about it a realize 'duh' I suppose it is night in the eagle nest and they didn't pay their electricity bill so it's dark.

Since DDT was banned, the eagles have returned. It took a long time for the poisons to purge out of the Great Lakes, but now eagles may be seen often along the shores of the Great Lakes. They like to scout for dead fish on the shore, but sometimes they will go after ducks in the river. I was there when they had babies before. The mother was feeding it seagulls that hang around the water there. Their nest was full of white feathers. The reception to the park has a monitor with the webcam showing the nest but I never saw it online. They have a trolley that stops by the tree but you have to look very carefully to see the birds.
