Molding for curved bathtub surround

Jeanne Park

I'm considering installing a new surround to my jetted corner tub. The current surround is acrylic/fiberglass material and is curved. If I apply a product such as tile, etc. directly to the current surface (after proper prep to ensure adherence), what would the best material be to put on top for a finished look? It would need to be on the curved ledge of the tub, I suppose. Not being a master woodworker I don't know how to bend wood moulding and pretty sure I don't want to try my hand at it either. It appears too difficult for my skills. I'm not adverse to using something unconventional (i.e. not traditional wood moulding) that would be flexible/bendable as long as it looks decent. Suggestions?
